Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa – Resort in Taita Hills

Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa is an inviting stone-built resort at the main entrance to the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary in south-eastern Kenya, about 400 km from Nairobi and 200 km from Mombasa. It is a sister property to Salt Lick Safari Lodge, which lies inside the sanctuary.

The resort has 60 well-appointed standard rooms and two elaborate suites, each with a private viewing balcony overlooking the lush gardens, the free-form swimming pool or, in some cases, the waterhole. A museum displays First World War memorabilia from the rich history of Taita Taveta County.

Chala Restaurant serves buffet meals with live cooking counters and Pan-African, Pan-European and Pan-Asian dishes, using herbs and vegetables from the resort's own garden. There is also a coffee shop and the Taita Hills Bar & Lounge, plus a spa. Champagne breakfasts, bush dinners at Kudu Point with views of Kilimanjaro, picnic hampers and a garden kitchen experience can be booked.
