Description
The Co-operative University of Kenya is a public university located in Karen, Nairobi. Its roots go back to 1952, when it began as a training school for the co-operative movement, and it later grew into the Co-operative College of Kenya before being awarded a university charter.
Today the university offers certificate, diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in areas such as co-operatives and business, community development, economics, computing and information technology. It continues to train officers and members of Kenya's savings and credit co-operatives (SACCOs), farmer co-operatives and other member-owned businesses, linking classroom learning with the needs of the co-operative sector.
Students can apply online and reach the admissions office for course details, fees and intake dates. News, events and contacts are on the university website.
